Sierra Sierra Megan MeganGale was a winner of a modeling contest in Perth when she was just 18. several years of modeling Gale became famous when in 1999 was cast as a model in a string of adverts for an Italian company in the field of telecomm, Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) and she was featured in the commercials of the company from 1999 until. In 2003 it was announced that she was chosen by the Australian Tourist Commission retained her as their 'face of Australia to Italy.' Gale appeared on the covers of Australian Marie Claire Grazia Gioia Italian Maxim Australian InStyle, Australian Marie Claire, Italian GQ and Australian GQ and also in Vogue Italia and Australian Cosmopolitan editorials. Gale has been a runway model for Milan Fashion Week for Mariella Marani and Angelo Marani as well as Gianfranco ferre, Genny & Gai Matiolo. Gale likes a lot of Australian designers like Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnston Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. In 2006, she served as presenter for the Australian television awards, the Logies. Gale announced in January 2008 that she was retiring from modeling runways following 15 successful years. In the following weeks when she was launching the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for her final time on the catwalk. In her final appearance she was wearing Wonder Woman's costume from The Justice League of America movie that never came out. The film premiered in March 2011. Gale returned to the runway to close Alex Perry's 2011 Melbourne Fashion Festival show. Gale was celebrating her 10-year birthday in August 2011 which was the longest-running fashion contract in Australia and the David Jones department store. Gale became a part of Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez as an ambassador of L'Oreal Paris in the same month. Gale starred in an L'Oreal Shampoo commercial that was telecast in Australia, New Zealand, and Italy.
