Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies' acting career began at age 12 when she started going to local casting call open to the public. Gillies soon began to appear in commercials for companies like Virgin Mobile. Gillies had a part in recurring roles as a character in The Black Donnellys during three episodes. Her parents were not comfortable with her to be watching the show's completeness. (citation required) In 2008 she was cast in minor roles in the show The Clique, Harold, and Locker 514. At the end of summer, Ariana, who would later appear in Victorious along with her, was chosen to play alongside her in Lucy in an Goodspeed Production from Jason Robert Brown's 13 musical. It was in the fall of that identical year, the musical 13 that was the first Broadway musical that was entirely composed of teens, moved to Broadway. She was given the big numbers "Opportunity," "It Can't be true," and other smaller numbers like "Hey Kendra,"" "Getting Ready" and many more. Gillies was part of the show up until January 4, 2009.
